Valley View is a place where people can meet Jesus, and engage in a life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God's glory. 2026 Community Backpack Giveaway
Back by popular demand, Valley View Church of Christ is excited to host this year’s Community Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, July 25th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This special community event is designed to bless children and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Each child who attends with an adult will have the opportunity to receive a free backpack filled with school supplies, while supplies last.
There is a limit of 3 backpacks per family.
There are no fees and no strings attached. This is simply an opportunity for Valley View to serve, encourage, and support families in our community.
The Community Backpack Giveaway is also a wonderful time for neighbors to meet and connect with members of the Valley View church family. We look forward to greeting families, building relationships, and sharing the love and good news of Jesus Christ through service.

2026 Community Yard Sale
Come out and join us on Saturday, August 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for our annual Community Yard Sale.
This is not a for profit event. All donations will help support our young people through Bible Camp, field trips, scholarships, and other youth activities.
You may also find useful items for your home, yard, or garage while connecting with the Valley View family.
We would be glad to pray with you, encourage you, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with you and your family.

James Nelson Multipurpose Room
Grand Opening and Dedication
On Sunday, August 2nd, Valley View Church of Christ will celebrate the official grand opening and dedication of the new James Nelson Multipurpose Room.
Following morning worship service, we will gather in the patio area to reflect on the many faithful contributions of our beloved brother, James Nelson. His service, love, dedication, and commitment to the work of the Lord left a lasting impact on Valley View and the Kingdom of God.
This will be a special day of remembrance, celebration, and thanksgiving as we officially dedicate this room in his memory. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind, and we look forward to honoring his life and service together as a church family.

2026 Hot August Nights Community Event
Join us for Hot August Nights Community Engagement at Valley View Church of Christ on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This free, family friendly event will include food, games, music, and opportunities to connect with members of the Valley View family. Whether you are new to the Stockton area, searching for a church home, or simply looking for a positive evening with your family, we would love to welcome you.

Sunday School at 10am
Sunday School at Valley View is a place where young hearts and minds are nurtured in truth, faith, and purpose. We offer classes for children starting at age 5 and continuing through the teen and young adult years, providing age appropriate teaching that meets them where they are in their spiritual journey.
We recognize the unique spiritual needs of boys and girls, which is why we offer dedicated breakout sessions for teen girls and young adult women, as well as separate sessions for teen boys and young men. These classes are led by caring and faithful teachers who help guide our youth as they navigate the challenges and influences of today’s culture, grounding them in biblical truth and encouraging them to grow in their identity in Christ.
Our children and youth are excited to attend, learn the gospel, and discover how their gifts and talents can be used in service to God and His kingdom. Sunday School is more than a class. It is an investment in the next generation.

Wednesday Night Bible Class
Valley View is a learning center for anyone serious about sound and relevant Bible study. We are currently engaged in an in depth study of the Book of Acts titled Exploring Our Roots: A Study of the Early Church.
This is a hybrid Bible study that meets both in person and on Zoom. We understand the demands of family and work, so we have made the class accessible no matter your schedule or location. You can also view recordings and access classroom handouts in the Classes section of our website.
If you are in the Stockton area, we invite you to join us at 6pm for fellowship and a light dinner before class begins at 7pm.

Father's Day Weekend
We enjoyed a wonderful Worship in the Park on Father’s Day. It was a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, and time together as a church family.
